2020 is the year of everything virtual. With trade shows and other venues gone, cigars are getting their debuts online. The H. Upmann Connossieur No. 2 will be the focus of a virtual cigar event on November 24 at 7 pm. Germany will do the honors for this release. Germany’s 5th Avenue Products Trading GmbH will be doing the unveiling. Over 300 lucky participants of the virtual cigar release received a tasting pack. Each pack has a new cigar, a chocolate, and a spirit to pair.
Details of the H. Upmann Connossieur No. 2 are unique to Habanos S.A. due to the ring gauge. This is the first time they have released a 51 ring gauge size cigar. Cigars length is 5 1/4 inches. This vitola is called “Bohemios” in the Cuban cigar factories. This is the newest addition to the Connossieur series. The last cigar added to that line was the B in 2018.
The H. Upmann Connossieur No. 2 will first hit stores in Germany. MSRP of the new cigar is at 13.50 Euros. After the debut, the No. 2 will start to sell in other markets.
