Villiger celebrates their 130 year anniversary with a new cigar: La Vencedora.
Vencedora is an old Cuban pre-Castro brand, that is owned by American Tobacco Company; in the early 2000 it was acquired by Villiger and releasing a Ecuadorian Connecticut cigar to the market. In 2012, production of that product was stopped and now it will be reproposed with a completely new blend, designed in collaboration with Alejandro Martinez Cuenca of Joya de Nicaragua.
It is a Nicaraguan Puro wrapped in a Habano Oscuro and it will be available in 3 sizes:
• La Vencedora Robusto, 50 x 127 mm
• La Vencedora Toro, 50 x 152 mm
• La Vencedora Churchill, 50 x 178 mm
La Vencedora is produced at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Esteli, Nicaragua; it is commercialized in 25 count boxes and prices will range from $9 – $10 per single cigar and depending on the size.
