In recent years, the Villiger Summer Edition has developed from a one-off, limited cigar sampler into a permanent, annual item.
The design consciously incorporates the country’s typical sights. The frangipani, Nicaragua’s national flower, not only adorns the packaging of this year’s edition but is also a core element of the cigar band.
It comes in a classic Robusto size, measuring 50 x 127 mm (5”) and the blend is made up of a Nicaraguan wrapper, over a Sumatra binder and an undisclosed filler. They are made at the company’s Villiger de Nicaragua factory.
The Villiger Summer Edition Nicaragua is sold in 3-ct packs at a retail price of €24 per pack. They are limited to only 1,400 packs in Germany.
The Corrida portfolio is expanding to include another format and is now available as a shorter Short Robusto+. The official dimensions are 60 x 101 mm (4”) and will be available in the Corrida Honduras and Nicaragua lines.
Both will be available in 20-ct boxes and share the same retail price of €6.70 per cigar.
