The cigar is dressed up in a beautiful and shining colorado claro shade wrapper. To the touch the veins are not perceivable. The manifacture is excellent and the filling generous.

Villiger 1888 Torpedo: before to light it up, it delivers coffee and dried fruit notes, with a little bit of citrus. The opening is sligthly swett, with an acidulous vein.

The first third delivers nutty notes, followed by wood. Roasted notes of coffee get developed soon, becoming more and more present. The strength is light (2/5).

In the second third the base gets more richer, while the acidulous vein disappears. Notes of coffee, wood and carob alternates each others. The strenght stays on a light level (2/5).

In the last third the the coffee is still the mai aroma, followed by spices and wood. The strength picks up, reaching a light to medium level (2,5/5).

Overall, the 1888 Villiger Torpedo is an easy cigar to be enjoyed. The balance is great and the intensity remarkable. The evolution is not too wide, but if you like the coffee aroma in a cigar, this will become one of your favourites.
