New Casa Turrent 1880

There is something new for Casa Turrent, the Mexican brand of Alejandro Turrent. Four are the new blends created for the 1880 series, all made to fit a single size: a 55 x 165 mm (6.5″). The four blends refer to the color of the tobacco leaves and have been named as follow:

  • Claro: Mexican wrapper San Andrés, Mexican binder San Andrés and a filler made of tobaccos grown in Mexico and Dominican Rep.;
  • Colorado: a Mexican puro. Tobaccos are all from Mexico (Wrapper San Andrés and binder Habano Criollo);
  • Maduro: Mexican wrapper (San Andrés), Mexican binder (Habano Criollo) and a filler made of leaves coming from Nicaragua and Mexico;
  • Oscuro: a Mexican puro, made of only San Andrés leaves.

The cigars will be distributed in the USA from the beginning of June, and will be marketed in boxes of 10 pieces. The price will be $ 200 per box and $ 20 per cigar. The production of these cigars becomes part of the brand’s regular portfolio.
