Tatuaje introduced Fausto as a brand in 2011. The blend was based on a cigar that Pete had done called T110. It features an Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper around a blend of Nicaraguan tobacco that includes an overly generous amount of ligero from Esteli and Jalapa. These regions balance each other quite well, making this the strongest of the Tatuaje blends while maintaining the balance that is a hallmark of the brand’s blends.
This year introduces two new sizes in the Fausto lineup:
- FT110 – 60 x 111 mm (4 ⅜”), $11 per cigar
- FT187 – 60 x 187 mm (7 ⅜”), $13 per cigar
Packaged in 12-ct slide-top boxes and produced at My Father Cigars, Esteli. They will premiere at the PCA in April and should begin shipping in early May.
