RVGN was founded by two Germans, Jan-Klaas Mahler and Oliver Nickels. RVGN is short for Rauchvergnügen, which translates to smoking pleasure. The slogan “German Engineered Cigars” is well showcased in the very technical bands and represents their approach to the blending of their cigars.

This short and stout cigar is rolled in an oily Colorado shaded wrapper. The veins are small and there is a little tooth present.

RVGN #36 cm3 Short Torpedo: hay and notes of barnyard in the cold draw. The cigar opens with light notes of pepper.

The first half, continues with the white pepper, that is now more present, joined by cedar wood and earth. Strength is medium (3/5).

The profile in the second half is basically the same, with the addition of coffee in the background. Strength remains medium.

Overall, the RVGN #36 cm3 Short Torpedo is a good short smoke if you only have little time for a smoke. The flavor profile, while not very broad, is balanced and well structured. Good smoke for the colder days.
