In 2019, to celebrate the brand’s ten years, Room 101 created the 10th Anniversary, a Toro size sold in 500 20-count boxes. The blend details have remained partly confidential. We know with certainty that it was made in Estelì (Nicaragua) at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez and that a Rosado wrapper, cultivated in Nicaragua, is used. The rest of the blend remains a secret.
Visually, this Room 101 is rolled in a Colorado shaded wrapper. It is quite smooth to the touch, with little veins. The overall construction and the filling are more than good. The draw is regular.

Room 101 10th Anniversary: unlit, delicate notes of cocoa and spices can be perceived, but also a more evident vegetal note.
Overall, the Room 101 10th Anniversary starts out well. The unusual flavor profile of the first third and the delicate balance, makes for a unique cigar, that evolves little by little. Even the beginning of the second third seemed promising. However, the metallic note that appears, added to an almost inexistent evolution between the second and the final third, makes for a good cigar, but it is not as special as one would expect of a product that should celebrate the brand’s tenth anniversary.
