The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robustus I is the shortest smoke of the Alma Fuerte line, and like all the cigars belonging to this line, it features tobaccos undergoing a ten-year aging process. Is it sold in 10 count black boxes with golden lettering. The same visuals are chosen for the band as well. We also reviewed the Sixto II Hexágono and the Nestor IV Toro.

The cigars are dressed in an oily Maduro leaf. The filling is generous, and the cigars are very well made. They are box-pressed and wear three bands: one with the Plasencia “P” logo, one with the extended “Plasencia” and the name of the line, and one more on the foot that reminds you that you are smoking the “Alma Fuerte” line.

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robustus I: the cold draw reveals scents of earth and spices, with the black pepper standing out. The first puffs are earthy.

In the first third, the cigars exhibit earth, leather, and black pepper notes. The background is a little tangy, and the strength is a bit above the medium level (3.5/5). The finish is long and excellent, with rich aromas of black pepper.

In the second third, the smoke gets creamier. There are notes of earth, black pepper, and some chili spice present. The strength is now medium-full (4/5).

In the last third, the cigar develops earth and black pepper notes, joined by a touch of balsamic herbs, which gets richer getting closer to the end. The strength doesn’t change (4/5).

Overall, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robustus I delivers a rich and well-balanced smoke. The flavor profile is deep and structured, and the smoke is satisfying.
