The Partagas Coronas Senior had been in production since before the Castro revolution, although, until 2002, it was machine-made. The vitola de Galera is Eminentes. Despite its age, the packaging has not changed: dress box containing 25 aluminum tubes. However, it should be noted that until 2017 it was also possible to find the three count aluminum tubes in cardboard packs.
Packaging in tubes hides the colors of the wrappers. It is possible to find cigars Colorado-colored leaves but also with lighter shades. To the touch, it is silky, with evident but not too pronounced veins. Construction is decent.

Partagas Coronas Senior: with the cigar off, intense wood aromas are perceived in the cold draw, followed by spices and leather.
Ultimately, the Partagas Coronas Senior is an excellent representative of the brand’s distinctive character: intense smoke with strong and typical flavors (wood and earth). The evolution appears a bit contracted, but it turns out to be an excellent cigar for a not very contemplative smoke.
