Padron Damaso was first introduced at the IPCPR 2015. The Damaso is a milder line, compared to the other medium to full bodied cigars, produced by Padron. It is also round, not box pressed, and uses a Connecticut Shade-Seed grown in Nicaragua as the wrapper. The Padron Damaso No.8 is a Corona Gorda in size.

Padron Damaso No.8: unlit, hints of hay. The opening brings intense vegetal and spicy notes to the palate.

The first third alternates rustic wood, a mix of spices (mainly green pepper) and vanilla. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).

Hazelnut is now perceptible as well. The flavors are intense and incredibly balanced. The strength does not change.

Strength increases, becoming medium – full (4/5).

Evolution is discreet. A very satisfying smoke. Without any shadow of a doubt, this is the best cigar in the Damaso line.
