The cigar is dressed in a marbled Colorado leaf, that is slightly opaque. It is silky to the touch with a few small veins present. The construction and draw are good.

Oliva Serie G Robusto 2

Oliva Serie G Robusto: in the cold draw, aromas of wood and nuts are perceptible, enriched by a light component reminiscent of cocoa.

Oliva Serie G Robusto 3

Once lit, the smoke is creamy. It expresses notes of wood, nuts, and coffee, all of equal intensity. The strength is medium-light (2/5).

In the central section, the strength (2/5) remains unchanged, while the profile confirms the note of wood and coffee but also gives way to a powerful earthy component that undermines the nuts.

In the last third, a light sweetness appears, which soon gives way to an increasingly marked astringency towards the last puffs. The aromas of earth and wood are confirmed.

Overall, the Oliva Serie G Robusto is an appreciable cigar if you are looking for a simple smoke, with a contained strength. If you are looking for a linear cigar, with aromas that are easy to read and don’t care much about a particularly marked evolution, this is the right cigar.
