The Nostrano del Brenta Millenovecentotrentanove box set, dedicated to the eighty years of the Monte Grappa Tobacco Growers Consortium, is finally available in stores. As already reported, sixteen cigars are placed inside this metal package: eight Castello and eight Foscari. The Castello Grande Sestiere, as its full name suggests, is a larger version of the Sestiere, a regular production cigar of the brand. The blend is unchanged (all tobaccos come from the apical part of the plant) and the use of medium filler leafs.
The cigar is wrapped in green tissue paper. Once the paper has been discarded, the cigar reveals a light brown wrapper. It is slightly rough to the touch and the veins are also quite pronounced. The overall construction and draw are excellent.

Nostrano del Brenta Castello Grande Sestiere: the nose reveals pronounced aromas of hay, followed by less marked hints of wood and earth.
Overall, this Nostrano del Brenta Castello Grande Sestiere is a good product, that is not similar to its younger brother. The flavors are well expressed and balanced between each other. The strength-to-flavor ratio is also to athe advantage of the latter. Unfortunately, the medium filler filling and the particularly generous size, paired with a limited evolution, perhaps make it a bit tiring. Objectively you could not ask for more.
