The Festival del Habano XXV, which concluded a couple of weeks ago, is Habanos SA’s famous celebration of Cuban cigars. Among the various events, seminars, and dinners, one of the highlights is the highly anticipated announcement of Habanos SA’s upcoming releases for the coming year.
Following is a list of the major releases and it is headed by the 15th anniversary of the Cohiba Behike line and the addition of the new Behike 58 vitola (factory name Laguito No. 7).
Cohiba Behike 58
The magic of “Behike” is reborn with a new image and the introduction of Cohiba Behike 58, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025. Known for its exclusivity, the Línea Behike—originating from the Taíno term for a spiritual leader—has set the benchmark for luxury in Habanos since its launch in 2010, originally featuring the BHK 52, BHK 54, and BHK 56 vitolas.
The new Behike 58 (58 x 178 mm – 7″) joins this prestigious lineup, showcasing a unique blend that includes the rare Medio Tiempo leaf, contributing to its bold flavor and character.
The redefined 10-ct packaging features a premium design with security measures to prevent counterfeiting, incorporating NFC technology for authenticity.
H. Upmann Magnum 50 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2019
The H. Upmann brand unveils its second Gran Reserva at the 25th Festival del Habano, featuring the iconic Magnum 50 vitola (50 x 160 mm – 6 ⅓”).
The H. Upmann Magnum 50 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2019 offers a sublime interpretation of the classic Línea Magnum blend, known for its mild-to-medium strength and refined aromatic profile. For this edition, the wrapper, filler, and binder leaves selected have undergone an ageing process of at least five years.
Its production is limited to just 5,000 numbered cases, each containing 15 Habanos, making it a true collector’s treasure for lovers of Habanos.
Romeo y Julieta Amantes
In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Romeo y Julieta unveiled the new Amantes vitola (53 x 153 mm – 6″).
The Sobresalientes factory name was introduced to the brand’s portfolio for the first time. The Amantes is available in two exclusive packaging: an elegant box of 20 Habanos, and a gift-ready pack of 5 Habanos, available for purchase by attendees at the Welcome Dinner of the 25th Festival del Habano.
Trinidad Villa
The Trinidad brand saw the addition of the Trinidad Villa (47 x 170 mm – 6 ¾”). This release will be exclusively available through the La Casa del Habano franchise network and Habanos Specialists.
The name of this vitola pays tribute to Cuba’s historic colonial towns, particularly the city of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This homage highlights not only the island’s cultural and architectural wealth, but also the connection between tradition, elegance, and the artistry of crafting a Habano.
Trinidad Villa is presented in a special box with 12 cigars. The factory name is called Julieta No. 3.
La Gloria Cubana 35th Anniversary
Habanos, S.A. has chosen the La Gloria Cubana brand to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the La Casa del Habano franchise with an exclusive global release. La Gloria Cubana also celebrates its 140th anniversary. This has resulted in the limited production of 750 humidors.
Each 35th Anniversary humidor contains 35 Habanos with the Rodolfos factory name (54 x 180 mm – 7 ⅛”).
Montecristo Elba Limited Edition 2025
To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Montecristo brand introduces its new Limited Edition 2025, featuring the Elba vitola (54 x 146 mm – 5 ¾”). This special release pays tribute to the iconic Isle of Elba, a significant location in the novel The Count of Montecristo, symbolizing a pivotal turning point in the protagonist’s journey.
Montecristo Elba Limited Edition 2025, with the Encantos factory name, this Habano is launched with a commemorative main band celebrating Montecristo’s 90th anniversary, accompanied by an additional band identifying it as the exclusive Limited Edition 2025. Furthermore, it incorporates NFC technology, allowing aficionados to verify the authenticity of this unique release.
Montecristo Elba 2025 Limited Edition comes in a special box containing 20 Habanos and a limited production of just 10,000 numbered cases.
Punch Princesas Limited Edition 2025
Punch, one of the oldest brands in the Habanos portfolio, celebrates its 185th anniversary with the Princesas Limited Edition 2025 vito-
la (52 x 135 mm – 5 ⅜”).
With the factory name Edmundo, the Punch Princesas 2025 Limited Edition is presented in a packaging designed exclusively for this occasion, containing 20 Habanos.
Coleccion Habanos Bolivar Royal Gigantes
For this 2025 Special Edition, the vitola Royal Gigantes (53 ring gauge x 174 mm – 6 ⅞”) is introduced, with the Mitos factory name. This is a unique vitola within both the brand’s portfolio and Habanos, S.A.’s regular offerings.
Colección Habanos Bolívar Royal Gigantes has a limited production of 3,000 cases, each containing 20 Habanos
This marks the second time Bolívar has featured in the Coleccion Habanos following the success of its Gran Belicoso vitola in 2010. This release also features an exclusive design crafted by the artisans of DeCuba “Arte en Maderas” in Pinar del Río, who have created the unique cases that turn this edition into a veritable work of art.
Partagás Cedros
As part of its 180th anniversary, the Partagás brand has been selected by Habanos, S.A. to commemorate the Year of the Snake according to the Chinese lunar calendar. For this special occasion, the exclusive vitola Cedros (50 ring gauge x 135 mm – 5 ⅜”) was introduced.
Partagás Cedros is a limited production created to celebrate the Spring Festival of the Chinese New Year in 2025. This release is presented in an elegant special box containing 18 Habanos.
Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Luis
The Le Hoyo Series from the Hoyo de Monterrey brand has been enriched with a new addition: Le Hoyo de San Luis (52 ring gauge x 160 mm – 6 ¼”).
It uses leaves exclusively selected from the municipality of San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río. It features the Fragancias vitola, Le Hoyo de San Luis will be packaged in 25-ct boxes.
Diplomáticos Cancilleres
Diplomáticos expands with the introduction of Cancilleres (52 ring gauge x 130 mm – 5 ⅓”), a vitola that enriches its portfolio. The Centrofino factory name joins the brand’s regular portfolio and will be packaged in 25-ct boxes.
