Left Hand Cigar Co. is owned by the Familia Rodriguez Tobacos LLC. Another brand they own, that might ring a bell, is the Ohana Cigars brand. They are both produced in Nicaragua, for now. Both brands will most likely move its production, to a factory located in Texas, in the future.
So far the Left Hand Cigar Co. released only two different Toro sizes, one is the Lefthander, while the other is dubbed Blurred Lines (a barber-pole).

The wrapper is of a Maduro shade. Although it may look rustic, it feels smooth to the touch. Veining is minimal, without any protruding veins. The cigar itself is box pressed, with a closed foot. Construction on the cigar is perfect, without any gaps present.
Left Hand Cigar Co. The Lefthander: once cut, the cold draw brings barnyard and spices, mainly black pepper, to the palate. The opening starts with notes of black pepper and sweet wood.
The first third starts out sweet, with chocolate as the main flavor. Said sweetness is followed by wood and earth. The black pepper has transitioned into white pepper, with cinnamon present in the retrohale. Strength is medium (3/5).
The chocolate sweetness disappears. Wood and earth are now joined by leather. Continuing, the white pepper is still present in the background, with cinnamon in the retro hale. A citrus note appears in the retro hale as well. Strength stays medium (3/5).
In the last third, the chocolate sweetness returns to the flavor profile, but not as dominant as in the first third. The white pepper has turned to black pepper now. Earth and leather are still present and the smoke becomes spicy (chili) in the finale. Strength is constant.
Overall, this Left Hand Cigar Co. The Lefthander showcases an interesting flavor profile. Everything is well balanced, from the palate to the retrohale. The transitions between the flavors in each third keeps you engaged.
