As the Laura Chavin brand relaunched in 2019, they also brought back the Terre de Mythe line in two sizes, the Grand Robusto and Petit Corona. The wrapper is of a speckled Colorado Maduro color that is oily and smooth to the touch. Construction is generous and flawless.

Laura Chavin Terre de Mythe Grand Robusto: the cold draw reveals faint notes of hay with a bit of spice. Once the cigar is lit, the first puffs bring notes of wood, walnut, and light aromas of coffee to the palate.
In the first third, the combination of wood and walnut is joined by light espresso notes. There is also a subtle sweetness present in the background. Strength is medium-light (2/5).
Herbal flavors appear in the second third. The walnut has taken center stage, while the wood aroma has died down slightly. Some white pepper spice comes through as well. A pleasant sour component appears next to the sweetness, and the strength becomes medium (3/5).
The last third sees the flavor profile increase in intensity. One minor touch-up is needed, but nothing too serious, and the strength stays constant.
Overall, the Laura Chavin Terre de Mythe Grand Robusto is a balanced and round smoke. While there is not much evolution going on, the profile is very nuanced and complex enough to make up for it.
