L’Atelier LAT56 Selection Spéciale: the cold draw reveals vegetal and peppery scent. The opening is all about wood, together with some vegetal hints.

The first third continues with vegetal notes and wood. There is a little sweetness going on in the background. The strength is medium (3/5).

In the middle third, the flavor profile confirms the wood and the vegetal notes, the latter now being perceivable only in the aftertaste. Getting closer to the mid point, a green tea aroma is delivered as well. Strength doesn’t change (3/5).

No big changes in final third, with the vegetal notes becoming a little more present getting closer to the finale, where a balsamic vein is added as well. Strength increases just a bit (3.5/5).

Overall, the L’Atelier LAT56 Selection Spéciale is a balanced cigar but a little bit static, especially considering the length and the smoking time.
