Through a press release on May 14, Crowned Heads is pleased to announce the Las Calaveras EL 2018, the fifth of this annual release. Originally, introduced in 2014, Las Calaveras is a cigar created as a tribute to those who disappeared the previous year, and is intended to be a celebration of life and memories rather than a symbol of sadness and death. Unchanged, however, the spirit behind the cigar: the choice to celebrate the life of those who have kindly shared their legacies.
”The 2018 marks the fifth anniversary of the Las Calaveras line ” said Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, ” we thought it appropriate to use a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, that covers a 100% Nicaraguan binder and filler. The recommended retail price will vary from $ 9.95 to $ 11.95. The three available sizes will be:
– LC46 (46 x 143 mm)
– LC50 (50 x 127 mm)
– LC54 (54 x 152 mm)
Las Calaveras EL 2018 is made at My Father Cigars S.A., in Estelì, Nicaragua. Shipments will start in June.
