The La Palina Goldie Laguito No. 6 has been set to release next month. The Goldie series has been an annual release since 2012. Each year is a new size. This year will be the largest ring gauge since the series debut. The 2020 Laguito No. 6 comes in at 165 mm (6.5″) by 56 ring gauge. As with all the previous releases, still the gold and white band, with the fan style pigtail cap.
All the Goldie cigars will be made at the El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami. Cigar blend is an Ecuador Habano wrapper, Ecuadoran binder, and a combination of fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Inside that filler blend is the limited “Medio Tiempo” leaf. Not a regularly produced leaf of the tobacco plant. Total production is 1,000 boxes each containing 10 cigars. MSRP will be $23 a stick before any taxes. No official release date, but coming soon in November 2020.
