Joya de Nicaragua Cigars will be showcasing a few new releases at next week’s PCA trade show in New Orleans.
The highlight is the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT “Gran Cónsul,” new addition to the Antaño CT line. This special-edition release is available exclusively to Joya de Nicaragua Club de Amigos of JDN members, with only 250 boxes produced.
“Antaño has always been a declaration of who we are— strong and unapologetically Nicaraguan. This new Gran Cónsul vitola is another chapter in that story, proving that complexity, elegance, and creaminess can coexist,” says Juan Martínez, Joya de Nicaragua’s Executive President.
The Gran Cónsul (60 x 121 mm – 4 3/4″) vitola has been a staple in other Antaños, but never before in Antaño CT—until now. The Antaño CT “Gran Cónsul” joins past exclusives like Número Uno “L’attaché”, Antaño CT “Lonsdale”, and Clásico Medio Siglo “Gordo”.
Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, this cigar will be available in 20-count boxes with an MSRP of $11.00 per cigar and $220.00 per box. It will begin shipping to stores in May 2025.
The other new release presented at the coming PCA is the Joya de Nicaragua Humidified Go-Packs. They will be releasing five different packs:
- Antaño Line Go-Pack – including Antaño Original, Antaño Gran Reserva, Antaño Dark Corojo, and the Antaño CT – $45.00 per pack.
- JOYA Line Go-Pack – including the Joya Red, Joya Silver, Joya Cabinetta, and the Joya Black – $37.50 per pack.
- Clásico Line Go-Pack – including the Clásico Original, and the Clásico Medio Siglo – $37.50 per pack.
- Rosalones Line Go-Pack – including the Rosalones Reserva, and the Rosalones CT. This Go-Pack will only be available for international, non-US markets. Retail prices change depending on the market.
- Joya de Nicaragua Mixed Go-Pack – including the Cuatro Cinco, Antaño Original, Antaño Dark Corojo, Antaño CT, and Clásico Original – $37.50 per pack.

The Go-Packs will begin shipping to stores in July 2025.
Lastly, Joya de Nicaragua will also showcase new packaging for the Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno and the Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco.
The two Número Uno sizes, L’Ambassadeur and Le Premier, will receive a new 13-count box for the US market. At the same time, the Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco “Reserva Especial” will have a revamped presentation, reflecting the legacy and prestige of premium Nicaraguan cigars.
