The H. Upmann Anejados Robusto belongs to the Anejados line, launched in 2015. The main characteristic of the Anejados line isthe aging, but not the one of the tobacco leaves (as usually happens) but of the cigars themselves, which are left to rest before being labeled and marketed. This cigars were announce in 2016, but they got to the market at the end of 2017/begin of 2018.
The cigaris wrapped up in a colorado shade leaf, smooth to the touch. The filling is homogeneous and the cigar is box prexed, something not that common among the nowadays Cuban cigars.

H. Upmann Anejados Robusto: light hay scents on the cold draw. The first few delivers a rich mix of hazelnut and walnut, enriched by piquant spices.
Overall, the H. Upmann Anejados Robusto is not among the best performing cigars belonging to the Anejados line. It is more disappointing though, because the expectations for this cigar were a little higher. The flavor profile is rather limited and so the evolution.
