Gurkha Cigar Group International has announced that their Dragonfly cigar, previously exclusive to the European market, will now be available in the United States. Its official debut will be at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA).
The Dragonfly is made in the Dominican Republic and features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Sumatra binder, and a blend of Dominican, Criollo 98, and Nicaraguan EstelΓ fillers. These cigars, measuring 52 x 159 mm (6 1/4β) and encased within elegant glass tubes, are available for purchase in ornate boxes of 20. The new U.S. packaging will include a signature sticker to match the cigar band and a barcode to replace the European versionβs white tape at the bottom. It retails for $17.50 per cigar.
βThe Dragonfly is an apex combination of premier tobacco from the most respected tobacco-producing regions in the world, resulting in a truly first-class cigar,β remarked Juan Lopez, Vice President of Sales at Gurkha Cigar Group, as he marveled over the mahogany hue of the Dragonfly cigars. βThis is an unmatched delicacy U.S. customers will appreciate for its distinguished aromatic quality.β
President of Gurkha Cigar Group, Jim Colucci, adds, βThe launch of the Dragonfly into the U.S. market is a landmark event for our luxury Tobacco collection. Gurkha couldnβt be more proud to present an innovative staple like the Dragonfly to new and seasoned cigar enthusiasts across the states.β
