Now shipping to a US retailer near you, Gurkha Year of Snake will be a brand new addition to the brand’s Chinese zodiac-themed release.
“The Year of Dragon collaboration was a huge hit with our retail partners in the USA,” commented Jim Colucci. “We were so pleased with the products that were made for us, that we decided to ask our manufacturing partners to take on another project honoring the Year of Snake.”
Gurkha Year of Snake will be in collaboration with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Oscar Valladares, and Oliva Cigar Co. Housed in elaborate 10-count humidors. These cigars adorn a decorative snake curled into a figure 8.
“We loved the design that was presented to us incorporating the lucky number 8,” said Juan Lopez, VP of Sales at Gurkha Cigar Group. “Additionally, we were so happy with the collaborations from last year’s Year of Dragon, that we couldn’t wait to start another project with E.P. Carrillo, Oscar Valladares, and Oliva Cigar Co. We’re really excited about the Gurkha Year of Snake brands and we’re looking forward to everyone trying it.”
- The Gurkha Year of Snake by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is housed in a blue humidor. The cigar is made in the Dominican Republic by E.P. Carrillo and features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. It comes in a 52 x 165mm (6 1/2”) size and carries a $19.95 MSRP.
- The Gurkha Year of Snake by Oscar Valladares is housed in a red humidor. The cigar is made in Honduras by Oscar Valladares and has a Habano wrapper. It comes in a 52 x 152 mm (6”) size and carries a $19.95 MSRP.
- The Gurkha Year of Snake by Oliva Cigar Co. comes in a black humidor. The cigar is made in Nicaragua by Oliva Cigar Co. and features a Mexican San Andres wrapper. It comes in a 52 x 168 mm (6 5/8”) and carries a $19.95 MSRP.
Additionally, Gurkha Cigars is releasing a collector’s edition green domed humidor adorning the same figure eight snake on top. Gurkha will only release 500 numbered humidors that carry an MSRP of $1,200.00.
Gurkha Cigar Group is shipping the Year of Snake line now. There are only 750 of each Year of Snake 10-count boxes available and 500 humidors.
