The Gran Habano XX Aniversario Edicion Limitada line commemorates the 20th anniversary of the company. Initially, the release was planned 2021, but it had to be pushed back due to the COVID pandemic.
The blend is made up of a Nicaraguan shade-grown Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Colombian, Peruvian, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The cigars were aged for two years after they were rolled. The cigars are made at the company’s Tabacalera Unidas S.A. factory in Danli, Honduras. All sizes will be packaged in twenty-count boxes.
The cigars are dressed up in a Colorado-Maduro leaf, with reddish reflections. The wrapper leaf is oily and smooth, to the touch and the construction is perfect.

Gran Habano XX Aniversario El Sueño: The cold draw reveals scents of cocoa and roasted coffee beans. The opening delivers rich notes of wood and green pepper, with a nice twang.
The first third develops notes of coffee, earth, black pepper, and piquant aromas. The strength is medium-full (4/5).
The middle third continues on the earthy aromas, once again enriched by the intense peppery notes and some piquant spices. The strength is confirmed (4/5).
In the last part of the smoke, the cigar continues on the earthy notes as well as the coffee ones. The spices are now much lighter but still present in the aftertaste. There is also a touch of cocoa introduced. The strength doesn’t change, and the finale is well balanced.
Overall, the Gran Habano XX Aniversario El Sueño is an intense and balanced cigar. It is bold and satisfying, with a broad flavor profile and a perceivable evolution.
