The La Conquista line, from Gran Habano, was originally released back in 2016. It is made up of three sizes. The package is ornate as are the bands, that depict Christopher Columbus’s arrival to the Americas. Each cigar is also wrapped in a cedar sleeve, with a ribbon on the end of the foot.
Once the cedar sleeeve is removed it reveals a smooth and oily Colorado Maduro shaded wrapper. Veins are small and the overall construction appears to be good.

Gran Habano La Conquista Gran Robusto: the cold draw reveals notes of grass and spices, with some sweetness also perceptible. Once lit, the cigar opens with cinnamon and wood.
Overall, the Gran Habano La Conquista Gran Robusto presents an interesting and balanced flavor profile (especially in the second third), but it lacks in complexity in certain parts (mostly in the last third). Construction-wise, the cigar was flawless.
