Global Premium Cigars (GPC) announced the expansion of the CACHITOS line with the upcoming release of CACHITOS Connecticut. Known for providing a premium cigar experience in a smaller size, the original CACHITOS is a 50 x 102 mm (4″) Short Robusto crafted from Nicaraguan tobaccos.
The CACHITOS Connecticut marks the brand’s first line extension since its introduction in 2019 by founder and master blender Enrique Sanchez. This new blend features a shade-grown wrapper from the Connecticut River Valley and premium Nicaraguan tobaccos, creating a creamy and complex smoking experience.
Both blends are handcrafted at the Barreda cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Sanchez noted that creating the Connecticut blend involved careful selection of tobaccos to satisfy a range of preferences, reflecting his Nicaraguan roots.
Both CACHITOS blends are available in 5-pack boxes at an MSRP of $6.20 per cigar and will begin shipping to global retailers in April 2025.
