Fonseca Cosacos

Fonseca Cosacos 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Fonseca Cosacos has been in production since before the Cuban revolution. His vitola de Galera has the same name as the actual cigar: Cosacos. As with all the brand’s standard products, the Cosacos is also dressed with a thin white paper that covers the wrapper. It is sold in 25-count boxes.

Once the white paper is removed, the cigars are usually dressed in brown Colorado-colored wrappers. However, the colors can vary, even reaching a Claro shade. To the touch, they are silky, with rather prominent veins. The filling is optimal, the construction is good.

Fonseca Cosacos: when the cigar is off, it is possible to perceive equal vegetal and woody aromas.

Fonseca Cosacos

Once lit, the smoke appears delicately sapid in the mouth. It expresses earth and wood notes of equal intensity, and strength is light (1/5).

In the central section, the initial sapidity is more marked, while nothing varies neither in the flavor profile nor in the strength (1/5).

In the final third, a delicate bitter note emerges, while a very intense note of nuts is added to the combination of earth and wood. Strength increases, becoming medium-light (2/5).

Ultimately, the Fonseca Cosacos returns a simple smoke without significant flaws or roughness. The smoke is quite round, but the flavor profile is contained, and the evolution is almost absent—a good product for those approaching the world of cigars or those looking for a quick morning smoke.
