Flor de Selva No. 20

The cigar is rolled in a fairly shiny Colorado wrapper, with golden reflections. It is silky to the touch with rather light veins. The construction is excellent, as is the filling. The draw appears slightly open.

Flor de Selva No. 20

Flor de Selva Aniversario No. 20 Lancero: unlit, the aromas perceived are very delicate and recall wood, earth and spices.

Flor de Selva No. 20

Once lit, the cigar is immediately sweet on the palate, expressing notes of white pepper, wood, spices, and dry floral notes, all of the same intensity. The strength is medium-light (2/5).

In the central section, a sapid component now accompanies the initial sweetness. Alongside the initial white pepper, notes of cocoa and nuts appear, the latter being very generous in terms of intensity. Strength remains unchanged (2/5).

In the last third, the sweetness disappears, and only the sapidity remains. Alongside the aromas of nuts and white pepper, unchanged from the central third, a metallic note of medium intensity appears. Strength remains unchanged (2/5).

In conclusion, this Flor de Selva Aniversario No. 20 Lancero returns a noteworthy smoke, which does not disappoint either in terms of aromas or complexity. Even the evolution is appreciable, even if it contracts slightly in the transition between the central and final third. An excellent Panetela, with a low strength level, which benefits the rich and interesting flavor profile.
