Espinosa War Head Independence Day

Espinosa Premium Cigars will unveil a new addition to its La Bomba Warhead series during the upcoming PCA: The Warhead: Independence Day. This limited-edition cigar, exclusively designed to reward loyal customers, features an entirely new blend and is distinct from previous Warhead releases.

With a retail price of $180 for a 10-count box, only 2,500 boxes will be available. The Warhead: Independence Day is a box-pressed 6 1/2” Toro with a dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and long-filler tobaccos. It is made at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua

“It’s a cigar that rewards loyalty and sparks curiosity,” said Erik Espinosa, President of Espinosa Cigars. “This marks the first promotional cigar project for Espinosa and signifies a moment of growth and appreciation.

Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua

The company has also announced two new releases for the Knuckle Sandwich brand. One is called Puro Nicaragua, which, as the name suggests, is a Nicaraguan Puro, and the other one is the new Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special for this year.

“This one’s special,” said Erik Espinosa. “We’ve worked with Nicaraguan tobacco for years, but this is the first time we’ve gone all Nicaraguan. It’s got strength, flavor, and that unmistakable spice note that runs through the entire smoke. It’s a true puro, and for sure a true Knuckle Sandwich.”

Wrapped in a dark Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro, with Nicaraguan binder and filler, the Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua comes in three sizes:

  • Gordo, 60 x 152 mm (6″) – $14.99 per cigar
  • Robusto, 52 x 127 mm (5″) – $13.50 per cigar
  • Toro, 54 x 152 mm (6″) – $14.50 per cigar

The cigars are made at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, and will be packaged in 20-ct boxes. They will be on display this week at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans. They are scheduled to begin shipping shortly after the show concludes.

Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025

The Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025 is what the company describes a bold new direction in the Knuckle Sandwich lineup, featuring a rich Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.

“This is one of Guy’s favorite lines,” said Erik Espinosa, President of Espinosa Premium Cigars, “we always make sure the Chef Special lives up to its name, and 2025 is no exception.”

Packaged in 10-count boxes, the Chef Special 2025 is limited in production to 2,000 boxes. The Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025 is priced at $16.00 per cigar, or $160.00 per box, and will be available at select premium retailers nationwide.

“The first couple of years, we kept things very approachable,” added Hector Alfonso Sr., Espinosa’s Master Blender. “But with last year’s Broadleaf and now this Brazilian Mata Fina, we’re turning up the flavor. This year’s blend has a richness we know our fans will love.”

The Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2025 is at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

Espinosa Warhead 11

Lastly, the 601 La Bomba Warhead 11 is the latest addition to the limited-edition Warhead series. This full-bodied Nicaraguan puro features a dark Nicaraguan Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It is presented in a unique 54 x  171 mm (6 ¾”) Oval Figurado vitola, developed to enhance the blend’s strength and complexity.

“Warhead 11 not only delivers but continues to evolve,” said Erik Espinosa, President of Espinosa Cigars. Packaged in a 10-count bomb-shaped box, Warhead 11 maintains the line’s iconic military-inspired aesthetic. MSRP is $15.00 per cigar, with a 10-count box priced at $150.00. This limited edition will begin shipping to select retailers in May 2025.
