Inch Nicaragua

The newest line from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo won’t be made at his La Alianza factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Instead, the industry veteran has partnered with non-other than the Plasencia family for his new line of cigars, called Inch Nicaragua.

Not only are the cigars produced at the Plasencia factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, but the Nicaraguan puro also uses exclusively tobaccos grown by the family.

The Inch line was introduced in 2012 and came in only ring gauge sizes over 60, up to 70. Inch Nicaragua will come in three hefty sizes: No. 60 (60 x 149mm/5.8″), No. 62 (62 x 127mm/5″), and No. 64 (64 x 155mm/6.1″). The cigars should be available around the PCA trade show in July, and the retail price ranges from $9.95 to $12.50, depending on the size chosen.
