Intertabak AG, the exclusive distributor of Habanos, S.A. for Switzerland, acted as master of ceremonies at the presentation of the Humidors of the new Montecristo Collection in collaboration with S.T. Dupont. The new Montecristo L’Esprit vitola was one of the surprises of the evening!
The event occurred on Monday 30th of January, at the Halle 7 in Basel. The menu of the evening has been created and cooked by the renowned Blindekuh restaurant. The participants of the evening were able to appreciate the three magnificent humidors that make up this Collection: Le Crépuscule, La Nuit, and L’Aurore.
The Montecristo L’ Esprit collection, of which these magnificent humidors are a part, is inspired by Alexandre Dumas’s novel, The Count of Montecristo, which gives its name to the prestigious Habano brand. And together with it, the French lighters and accessories firm for Premium Tobacco aficionados is celebrating its 150th anniversary. Each Humidor contains 50 cigars, and the production will be limited worldwide to only 200 Humidors of “Le Crépuscule”, 200 Humidors of “La Nuit “, and 200 Humidors of “L’Aurore”. The first humidor that will be released will be “Le Crépuscule”.
In addition to the privilege of being the first people to find out about the new collaboration between Habanos, S.A. and S.T. Dupont, the small number of guests were surprised with the new Montecristo L’Esprit vitola (50 x 145 mm – 5.7″, the factory name is called “Preciosos”) which they could smoke in exclusivity.
The lucky invitees were also gifted a special box containing two more Montecristo L’Esprit, and one special cigar case from S.T. Dupont engraved with the three main visual elements of Le Crépuscule, La Nuit, and L’Aurore.
