The Victor Calvo Cincuenta is produced in Nicaragua, and the line includes four sizes, among which there is the Robusto. The whole line is characterized by a red ribbon that is placed around the foot of the cigars.
Visually, the Victor Calvo Cinquenta Robusto comes dressed in a Colorado leaf, that is smooth to the touch. The cigars are slightly box-pressed, and the overall construction is flawless.

Victor Calvo Cincuenta Robusto: hints of earth and nuts are present in the cold draw. Once lit, notes of earth and black pepper emerge, joined by hot spices.
Overall, the Victor Calvo Cincuenta Robusto releases a strong and intense smoke, which is very satisfying. The balance in the last third of the smoke is at the limit, with the strength in some puffs overshadows the flavors. The evolution is rather linear and played more like changes in intensity than as a variation of the flavor spectrum. Some samples showed combustion problems, which required some corrections during the smoking process.
