Sancho Panza Non Plus

Sancho Panza Non Plus 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Sancho Panza Non Plus dates back to well before the Cuban Revolution. Unfortunately, due to a rationalization of the brand’s portfolio, Habanos S.A. has decided to discontinue production of the Non Plus in 2019. However, partly due to the not widespread distribution on world markets and partly because it is a niche brand, it is still available in most well-stocked stores.

The vitola de Galera is Mareva and was offered to the public in twenty-five count dress boxes.

Sancho Panza Non Plus

Often, the cigars are dressed in very dark wrappers, ranging from Colorado Maduro to Maduro. To the touch, they are rustic, with not very marked veins. The overall quality is good, and the cigar is slightly box-pressed.

Sancho Panza Non Plus

Sancho Panza Non Plus: unlit, very strong wood aromas are perceived, followed by less intense spicy notes and nuances of earth and cocoa.

Sancho Panza Non Plus

Once lit the smoke is sapid, characterized by notes of wood and black pepper, followed by spicy tones. Strength is medium (3/5).

The central third confirms the sapidity, enriched by light bitter nuances that do not unbalance the smoke. There is also a tactile sensation of astringency. It expresses strong notes of earth and nuts, with a less evident woody aroma. Strength becomes medium-full (4/5).

In the last third, the aromas of earth and wood are still perceived, while a metallic note appears. Strength remains unchanged (4/5).

Ultimately, the Sancho Panza Non Plus faithfully mirrors the rustic Sancho Panza character. The resulting smoke is decisive and intense, and also the aromas are well defined. The evolution, although not exaggerated, is palpable. Only the astringency is a bit annoying towards the end.
