The Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut Toro is made in Estelì, Nicaragua, at the Luciano Cigar Factory. This line is a tribute to the family history of master blender Don Eradio Pichardo. The cigars are sold in fifteen-count boxes.
The cigars are dressed in a Colorado Claro wrapper, that is silky to the touch. Once you remove the foot band, you will notice that the finish is not the traditional one, but the wrapper is cut a little above the end of the cigar. Considering the wrapper color, this creates a nice contrast. The overall construction is flawless.

Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut Toro: the cold draw reveals scents of earth, with a little spiciness to it. The opening delivers vegetal notes, wood, and a touch of black pepper.
Overall, the Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut Toro delivers a pleasant and balanced smoke. With that being said, the flavor profile is rather static, with a limited evolution. The transition of flavors mainly happens in the final third.
