The first third turns to earth and black pepper aromas, together with seasoned wood. The strength is medium-full (4/5).
The second third confirms the flavor profile, that continues alternating spices, wood, and earth. The strength is unchanged (4/5).
In the final third, the flavor profile proceeds with earth, wood, and spices, the latter becoming more intense and recalling black pepper and chili spice. There is now a rich balsamic vein present as well. The strength increases a slightly (4.5/5).
Overall, the Padrón Series 4000 Natural delivers an intense smoke, but slightly linear in terms of evolution and broadness of flavors. It is a rich and bold smoke.
