Oliva-Serie-O-Perfecto

Oliva Serie O Perfecto: the cold draw reveals intense notes of barnyard, with a far off hint of coffee and spices.

The cigar starts out with earth. In the first third it offers leather and earth. Strength is slightly over the medium (3.5/5).

In the second third, next to the already mentioned flavors (that are more evident) a spicy note appears, white pepper in particular, which culminate in the middle section. Copious amounts of smoke, with the aromas becoming even deeper and richer. Strength stays constant.

In the final third, the smoke becomes more satisfying, even if the perceived flavors are the same. The amount of smoke increases, as well as the strength (4/5).

Overall, a cigar that starts out with its foot on the breaks, which is also due to its format, that needs a few moments to fully express its aromatic palette. The flavors perceived are only a few, but of decent intensity (especially in the second half of the smoke). Persistency is discrete and the combustion is homogeneous, without any needs of corrections.
