La Galera Habano Lancero Perillas are produced in the Dominican Republic, by Jose “Jochy” Blanco, at the Tabacalera Palma factory. This line, besides the band, is also dressed by an additional golden band placed on the foot of the cigar, which makes it easily recognizable.
The cigar is dressed in a Colorado shaded wrapper, that is smooth to the touch. Construction shows no defects. The cigar is finished in a curly head, also called “pig tail”, common for many Lancero cigars.

La Galera Habano Lancero Perillas: unlit, it releases vegetal notes and hints of hay. The opening brings rich spicy notes of black pepper to the palate.
The first third of the smoke revolves around toasted aromas, wood and coffee. The flavor profile is simple and not particularly wide. Strength is medium – light (2.5/5).
The central section releases a wider flavor profile. Now it reveals notes of wood, earth and cappuccino. Notes of pepper are present in the background. Strength grows slightly, enough to reach a medium level (3/5).
In the last third, earth and black pepper are confirmed. Notes of wood and cappuccino complete the profile. Strength is still growing slightly (3.5/5).
Overall, La Galera Habano Lancero Perillas emits a smoke with an limited flavor profile. Evolution is discreet, as is the intensity. Considering the size, it is rather disappointing on the evolutionary side and the depth of the flavors.
