La Aurora celebrates their 120th Anniversary with a new regular production line, fittingly named 120th Anniversary.
“As we commemorate our 120th Anniversary, we are proud to mark a milestone that will serve as a reference point for many years to come. Our commitment has always been with creating cigars that embody the rich, distinct flavors of the cigar world,” said Guillermo León, president of La Aurora.
The 120th Anniversary is a Dominican puro, with a Habano 92 wrapper over an Olor binder and Corojo, Olor, and Piloto Cubano tobaccos for the filler. The line is offered in the following sizes:
- Churchill: 47 x 178 mm (7″), $16 per cigar
- Gran Toro: 58 x 152 mm (6″), $16.80 per cigar
- Robusto: 50 x 127 mm (5″), $16.10 per cigar
- Toro: 54 x 140 mm (5 1/2″), $14 per cigar
The cigars are made at their own La Aurora S.A. factory in Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic. All sizes are sold in 20-count boxes and are headed to stores later this year, first to the U.S. market and then internationally.
