The colors of the wrapper can vary from Colorado Claro to Colorado. However, to the touch, they are almost always relatively smooth and with tiny pronounced veins. The quality is excellent.

Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto

Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto: unlit, a clear note of wood is perceived, enriched by nuances of earth and coffee.

Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto

The smoke is rather sapid in the opening, with a slight bitter hint. It expresses notes of bitter almond, wood, and balsamic herbs, all of equal intensity. Strength is medium (3/5).

The initial bitterness gives way to a not too evident sweetness. The profile confirms the wood and nuts, with nuances of bitter almond and earth. Strength increases, becoming medium-full (4/5).

The Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto is the outsider of the Hoyo de Monterrey brand. Although the brand is famous for products with a strength level between light and medium, this product, despite the small size, returns an intense smoke, with well-defined aromas and supported by a remarkable strength, somewhat unusual for the brand. The evolution is a bit contained, but given the size, it is a flaw that one is willing to turn a blind eye to.
