Casdagli Cigars announced that the Cypher 3311 Line is set to introduce the Boniface cigar, tying its release with Remembrance Day on November 11th. They also communicated the donation of $8,000 to the Red Cross, courtesy of its commitment to donate a dollar from every cigar sold. Inspired by the clandestine warfare of WW2, the limited edition Cypher 3311 Line pays tribute to war heroes and the enigmatic world of secret codes.
The Cypher 3311 Line, in its second year, is gearing up to launch a new product, the Boniface cigar. The release is aligned with Remembrance Day to honor the armed forces members who have died in the line of duty since the First World War. It is a day of reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by soldiers.
The Boniface’s name hails from British Intelligence’s code-breaking initiative, Ultra, and a fictional spy network employed to protect the secrecy of their successes against the Germans. Boniface will be restricted to a maximum of 4’000 vitolas per annum. However, in 2023, there is a limited release outside of the US market. The Boniface launch in the USA will take place at PCA held at March 22-25, 2024, in Las Vegas. The Boniface measures 54 x 127 mm (5″), and the blend is made up of an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Costa Rican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Peru, and a third undisclosed country.
Reflecting on the overwhelming reception in 2023, Jeremy Casdagli expressed, “The response to our Cypher 3311 Line has been heartwarming. Sharing this project with global enthusiasts has evoked profound connections and tales.”
In tandem with the Cypher 3311 Line, the luxury accessory brand Villa Casdagli Collection has reissued the book “A Stitch in Time. God save the King – Fu*k Hitler!” This personal narrative penned by Jeremy’s father, Captain A. Casdagli RN, recounts the experiences of Major A. T. Casdagli during WW2. In line with the project’s philanthropic spirit, 25% of the book’s proceeds go directly to the Red Cross. Enthusiasts can also procure a themed Cypher 3311 silk pocket square from the Villa Casdagli Collection online shop.
The cigars are sold in 20-ct boxes, and they are made at the IGM factory in San Jose, Costa Rica. Retail price is set at $30 per cigar in the US.
