Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) releases its MEMENTO MORI line in three sizes next month. MEMENTO MORI is symbolic of the inevitability of death and serves as a reminder that tomorrow is not promised. Live life today.
“Memento Mori is exactly what you envision when you think of a Black Label Trading Co. cigar. From its appearance to its flavor profile, this cigar is all about the darkness. The Memento Mori started as a factory exclusive, and I loved it so much, I wanted to release it to the general public,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
The blend comprises a Pennsylvanian Broadleaf wrapper, over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers, and the cigars are made at their Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. The cigars are sold in 20 count boxes, and the sizes are:
- Corona – 42 x 140mm (5 1/2″), MSRP of $10.50 per cigar
- Lonsdale – 46 x 165mm (6 1/2″) MSRP of $12.00 per cigar
- Robusto – 50 x 127mm (5″) MSRP of $11.00 per cigar
