Aladino Classic Elegante

Aladino Classic Elegante 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Aladino Classic Elegante was presented at the PCA 2023 and debuted on the market at the end of last summer. The Elegante extended the portfolio of the Classic line, which consists of five sizes. It is a Honduran puro with tobaccos grown on farms owned by the Eiroa family: Habano seed for the wrapper, Corojo for the binder, Corojo and Habano for the filler.

All sizes are sold in 20-ct boxes.

Aladino Classic Elegante

The wrapper is of a shiny Colorado hue with reddish nuances. It appears relatively smooth to the touch, with veins present but not markedly. The construction has no defects, and the draft is regular.

Aladino Classic Elegante 2

Aladino Classic Elegante: intense aromas of ripe fruit and walnut emerge in the cold draw, enriched by less marked woody tones.

Aladino Classic Elegante 3

Once lit, the smoke appears sweet but also sapid in the mouth. It expresses mineral, wood, and spice notes. Strength is medium (3/5).

In the central section, the initial sweetness disappears, giving way to a light, bitter component. The spicy note intensifies, standing out over those of cocoa and wood. Strength increases slightly (3.5/5).

In the last third, powerful notes of wood and earth are perceived. The strength becomes medium-full (4/5).

Overall, the Aladino Classic Elegante is a solid smoke but quite linear throughout. While a more marked evolution was expected from the size, the cigar cannot be defined as disappointing.
