The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo is part of the homonymous line, which consists of six formats, among which there is the robust called Espressivo. All cigars are made at the A.J. Fernandez. The name “Quattro” indicates the four variations of blends foreseen for the Aging Room brand, among which is Nicaragua. Each product is presented in a box of 20 cigars.
The cigar comes dressed in a Colorado Maduro-toned wrapper leaf that is somewhat rustic to the touch. Definitely box-pressed. It has a uniform filling, and the construction is flawless.

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo: unlit, it gives off hints of earth and cocoa. The opening reveals vegetal and grass notes, together with a veiled spiciness of black pepper. The first puffs make their way on a bitter base.
In the first third, earth, vegetal notes, and nuances of black pepper alternate. The strength is just above the medium level (3.5/5).
In the central section, the spicy component becomes more marked, with the notes of black pepper coming to the foreground, accompanied by earth and nuts, where walnut stands out. The strength grows further, reaching a medium-full body (4/5).
In the final stretch, the cigar continues on a marked intensity that goes hand in hand with the strength, which grows further (4.5/5). Earth and walnut are confirmed, with spicy notes that vary in intensity in the various puffs, culminating in hot spices.
Overall, the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo has a discrete evolution, which changes gears in the second half of the smoke, where the flavor intensity becomes more pronounced. The finish is satisfying.
