Asylum Premium Sixty: the cold draw reveals scents of earth, wood, and black pepper. The opening delivers rich notes of wood.
The first third is all about fine wood, together with a hint of vanilla. In the background, there are earth and ground coffee. The strength is medium (3/5).
The middle section turns to vegetal aromas, white pepper, and wood resin. In the background, there is a rich balsamic aroma present. The strength increases, becoming medium-full (4/5).
The last third confirms both flavor profile and strength (4/5).
Overall, the Asylum Premium Sixty delivers a balanced smoke. The flavor profile is decent in terms of the number of aromas, and the evolution is mainly perceivable between the first two thirds. Considering the time of the smoke, the second half is too static.
