Boasting a century-long tradition, Centenario is the symbol of Costa Rica’s traditional ron. Thanks to their fertile volcanic soil, the molasses of this Spanish-style ron expresses the best of the territory in a cuvée of precious aged liquors aged between 15 and 30 years. Centenario Real has a great drinkability and elegance beyond compare.
In the glass, aromas of coffee, candied citrus, and almond, enriched with caramel and red fruit. Wood, vanilla, and caramel, with toasted nuts, on the palate. The long finish is dominated by spice.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS MADE?
Among the rums tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those who scored the best were selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made. This list will be published in detail in the Winter 2020 issue of CigarsLover Magazine.
