The Eiroa CBT Maduro 48×4 Box pressed is a cigar made in Honduras. CBT is the acronym of Capa Banda Tripa, which identifies that the tobacco used (wrapper, binder and filler) is capable of delivering a full body and strength smoke, due to the fact that the leaves are the apical ones, those located in the upper part of the plant and therefore the most exposed to the sun.

Eiroa CBT Maduro 48×4 Box pressed: before lighting it up, it delivers scents of cocoa.
The first half of the smoke releases a mix of floral and cocoa notes, which are accompanied in the background by dried fruit with shell (mainly walnut) and fine spices. The strength is medium to high (4/5).
The second half turns to earth and intense notes of balsamic herbs. The strength remains constant (4/5).
Overall, the Eiroa CBT Maduro 48×4 Box pressed releases a short and very satisfying smoke. The cigar is strong, but still balanced and harmonious. The first part is better performing, due to a wider aromatic palette perceivable. The second half is rather more rustic, but with a smaller bouquet.
