Davidoff Cigars launched the Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 at the beginning of 2025, along with two exclusive humidors inspired by the multifaceted character of Winston Churchill—the artist.
The Limited Edition 2025 is blended using the same tobaccos as the original line but in different proportions. It comes in the vitola that was named after the great statesman: the Churchill size.
The cigars are rolled in an opaque Colorado Maduro wrapper, that only has a few small veins present. Construction is excellent, and the filling is uniform.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025: The cold draw reveals aromas of sweet hay and wood. Once lit, aromas of wood and hazelnut, along with a dash of red pepper in the background, are brought to the palate.
Further into the first third, coffee and vegetal notes are added to the profile of wood, hazelnut, and red pepper. There is also a subtle creamy sweetness present in the retro hale. The strength is mild-medium (2/5).
The wood note grows in intensity in the second third, and a leather aroma is introduced to the mix as well. The pepper spice morphs from red to black pepper. The strength increases to a solid medium level (3/5).
In the last third, the black pepper takes the lead and a chili note is added. The wood, hazelnut, leather, coffee, and vegetal note have taken a step back but are still well perceptible. A balsamic nuance is added toward the end. The strength grows to a medium-full (4/5). The finale is spicy.
Overall, the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 is a masterfully balanced, complex, and nuanced cigar. The Churchill size (which is somewhat typical) may start a bit slower, but the profile grows in intensity and flavor throughout the smoking experience and culminates satisfyingly.
