The Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2019 The Traveler Robusto is the limited edition of the brand. It underwent a complete restyling in 2014, presented its first limited edition to the general public after three years. The 2019 edition is the third limited release. Davidoff announced 8,000 ten-count boxes.
The tobaccos used include a Dominican wrapper, a Mexican San Andres binder and Dominican (Criollo Seco, Piloto Mejorado Seco and San Vicente Mejorado Viso) and Nicaraguan (Estelí Viso and Semilla Viso) filler tobacco.
This product ranked third in the Dominican Republic Awards in 2019.
The cigar comes dressed in a shiny Maduro wrapper with red reflections. It is quite smooth to the touch, with almost no evident veins. Construction and filling are excellent, in true Davidoff traditions.

Davidoff Winston Churchill LE 19 The Traveller Robusto: on the nose, it reveals aromas of nut, earth, and peppery nuances.
A few puffs are enough to kick the cigar into gear, releasing nuts and black pepper, followed by earthy nuances. The smoke is thick and creamy. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the second third, the nutty note is better outlined, with a mix of hazelnut and walnut, also followed by the earth (which increases in intensity compared to the first third) and by very vivid vegetal nuances. Again, strength increases, becoming medium-full (4/5).
In the last third, next to the black pepper appears also a spicy components, which culminate into chili spice, supported by hazelnut and walnut. In the finale, a fleeting nuance of coffee and toasted tones emerges. The strength remains unchanged (4/5).
