Davidoff announced the global launch of the second Limited Art Edition at the Art Basel, in Switzerland, which will takes place in June. The artist in collaboration for this project is Jamaican-French Olivia McGilchrist.
The Davidoff Limited Art Edition 2016 is a Perfecto shaped cigar. The production of this format is only entrusted to the most experienced torcedores. Only 10 are the Davidoff torcedor involved in the making of these cigars.
The tobaccos used for this Art Edition are: Habano Ecuador as wrapper, Dominican Piloto as binder and Piloto Visus, San Vicente Mejorado Seco, Yamasá Seco and two San Vicente Mejorado Visus tobaccos, from different zones, in the filler.
The unique boxes feature each an exclusive extracted from McGilchrist’s “from many sides”. This boxes will be limited to 7’000 pieces, containing 10 cigar.
