The brand CLE stands for Christian Luis Eiroa, CLE master blender. The cigars are made in Honduras, in the Fabricas Unidas. Under the CLE brands three lines are available: Cuarenta, Connecticut and Corojo. Thy differ from each other beacause of the wrapper.
The name of the cigar, as it happens for the whole line, is the cigar size. The 46 x 5.75 is a Corona Gorda.

The cigar is dressed up in a claro shade wrapper. To the touch it’s silky and the veins are almost unperceivable. The filling is generous and homogeneus.
Cle Connecticut 46 x 5 3/4: before to light it up, the cigar gives off scents of wood and spices, with a little bit of cocoa.
The opening is very acidulus with a touch of bitterness, and delivers piquant spices, that will disappear soon. The aromatic palette is made of light spices, hazelnut and mineral notes. The strength is medium (3/5).
In the second third the acidulus flavor come less. The aromas turns to rich notes of hazelnut, almond and wood. The strength increases a little (3,5/5).
In the last third the cigars delivers wood, walnut, almond a some metallic notes. The strenght increases againg, reaching a medium to full level (4/5).
Overall, the CLE Connecticut 46 x 5 3/4 develops a very good aromatic intensity, especially in the middle third. The balance is not as good, due to the acidulus and bitter flavors that are perceivable in the first half. The evolution, the persistence and the complexity are average.
